DynoJet chassis dyno....power is at the rear wheels. Run 001 was baseline.
Megasquirt ECU was added in 2008. It was initially implemented for fuel control, and we gained almost 15HP after initial tuning. Configuration was:
- stock injectors
- LC-1 wideband O2 sensor
- Volvo TPS with adapter (0280122001)
- Aeromotive adjustable fuel pressure regulator
- AFM removed
Several dyno sessions yielded a good increase in both horsepower and torque, and the engine now revs easily right up to the 7200 RPM redline. We used fuel cut for rev limiting. The engine internals are stock. Exhaust is CSC headers into a pair of bullet style mufflers with side exit pipes.
The pinout chart to connect megasquirt to the Alfa connector is below....

A TPS adapter was made from black delrin. An aeromotive adjustable fuel pressure regulator replaces the stock unit, and allows a small bump in fuel pressure. Once the fuel curve was optimized, the injectors were at above 90% duty cycle - the increase in fuel pressure (few psi) brought them back to the high 80's.
